The artist here is uncredited, but often Warner Brothers' animators would moonlight on the Looney Tunes Merrie Melodies comics as a way to pick up some extra cash. I love the the way this artist uses his panels - tons of action yet easy to follow. The line is very confident as well. Also, you will notice that the Bugs Bunny of this comic story is not so much the omnipotent, wiseacre he was in the cartoons. Elmer often had his day in the sun in the comics!
