This story starring Bugs Bunny, Porky Pig, and others manages to capture the very essence of this glorious season while poking gentle fun at its accesses; a quiet, impressive accomplishment which calls for some fine story-telling chops. The story and art is unaccredited, which is shameful. The artists involved here left a holiday gem as part of their anonymous legacy.

GORGEOUS SCANS~ awesome art~
great painted cover (from a f/vf comic)~ You are making it a Merry Christmas for ALL, Mykal~!
Lysdexicuss: you are doing your fair share yourself, my friend! -- Mykal
Yay, Bugs Bunny! I almost can't watch it any more though, after Family Guy's spoof on it. Or "cut out scene", or what it was supposed to be. When the hunter shoots Bugs Bunny and snaps his neck, and then drags him on the ground behind him. It's funny, but reeaally sick! Gives me nightmares.
I think it was Family Guy, any way...
Lolita: Thanks for stopping by!! -- Mykal
I read this one this morning, but didn't take the time to post a comment.
Basically because I knew that I would be back later this evening to read it all over again.
Great stuff!
Thanks, Chuck! More on the way for the holidays. -- Mykal
Love those painted covers! Another great post Mykal!
Karwell: Likewise! That cover I particularily liked, and because of the magnificent color choices made by the artist, the effect when posted was very pleasing. After I scanned it and posted it up, I went "wow!" -- Mykal
