If you can, please check out Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies #135. It also includes a Bugs Bunny half page gag strip. That's the version in which, to quote Chuck, Bugs is a "counterrevolutionary"--he's victimized and then gets even with the one who victimized him. By 1950, we see more of the smart-aleck wise guy winking at the audience. A good example is is the Bugs Bunny story in Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies #135.Shadehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13826564923761657937noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6028911836649669351.post-1511158872235787212010-07-16T20:50:21.412-04:002010-07-16T20:50:21.412-04:00I dunno if it is a good idea. but i was thinking t...I dunno if it is a good idea. but i was thinking to have a real movie of elmer fudd played by dann florek who currently acting in law and order svu. he has the same looks as elmer. jus think abt tht and anyone knows any hollywood directors u can pass on the ideaAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6028911836649669351.post-65506997535227759642010-02-17T19:28:42.715-05:002010-02-17T19:28:42.715-05:00sometimes if you see the White Box, you can just h...sometimes if you see the White Box, you can just hit refresh and it'll skeedaddle.KWhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01792617397718781026noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6028911836649669351.post-37745300448680586052010-02-16T16:07:41.399-05:002010-02-16T16:07:41.399-05:00Thanks, Chuck, for leting me know. -- MykalThanks, Chuck, for leting me know. -- MykalMykal Bantahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12148489896145024134noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6028911836649669351.post-22652384241730013152010-02-16T16:06:50.158-05:002010-02-16T16:06:50.158-05:00No hint of it today, Mykal! Was this gag strip what inspired Mr. Magoo ? I agree that animators drew this Looney Tunes comic; it really resembles art from any one of Bud Clampett's Bugs Bunny episodes. And that cover (fingers smacking lips) PURE AMERICANA !Runs.with.Feralshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15633149475126315592noreply@blogger.com
