SPOOKY in "The Disappearing Water"

Yesterday was a gloomy, drizzly day here in South Florida. Looking for a ray of sunshine, I naturallly went through my collection of Howie Post stories. This one, "The Disappearing Water," has a mad dash of science fiction thrown in for good measure. It comes from Spooky No. 93, August 1966.

  1. any time is a good time for some Howie Post story and art. It's interesting how well he illustrates the first chapter, which is mostly dialogue and set up material for the rest of the story. Fun stuff.

  6. Thanks for the Spooky story. I started reading comics with Spooky - none of that sissy Casper stuff for me. The one story that sticks out in my memory was Spooky in Pin Cushion Land (or something like that). My mom read that story to me while I was in bed with a severe case of bronchial asthma. I reread it until the comic fell apart. If you ever come across that Spooky story, could you post it? Thanks again for posting Spooky

I don't believe I have the story you mention, but if I can find it, I'll post it!
